Ski Trail was a ski trail, wear your snowshoes to maintain the integrity of it please. The New Path was completely unbroken since our last storm, over a foot of fresh powder was really pretty going downhill, would’ve been a nightmare going uphill. The .2 to the summit of South was almost entirely unbroken as well. The trail between the two summit was tracked by skiers but not snowshoers and drifts were knee high. I was post holing in snowshoes up to my knees in some spots. Old Path is also broken out and tracked but you’re still going to want to wear snowshoes. SNOWSHOES Is the word of the day. |
