Comments
Comments: The warm temps yesterday triggered a melt under the new snow, so it was very slushy and wet. Another hiker in snow shoes ahead of me broke out Whiteface Trail and continued on to Whiteface. I figured I would pay in forward and break out Piper. If everything that was super slushy and wet yesterday freezes there is definitely the potential for ice under the snow. Snowshoes on the whole way. There is a mean lady that lives at the base of the trail. Alfie wandered into her driveway for about five seconds while I was putting my snowshoes on and she came out running and screaming at me. Oh well.
