Freeze thaw has caused a lot of frozen foot prints especially at the beginning of the trail. I wore snowshoes to try to smooth out some of the choppiness but then a solid 10 people went up the trail with no snowshoes so it’s probably choppy again. You can definitely bare boot the whole trail but that will leave it all churned up and then it will harden and be full of ankle twisters. Really pretty day out. |
