Little River Road, "TRAIL" herd path, Haystack Road, North Twin Trail
The trail was a bit of a slog but is now in good shape after 4 snowshoe hikers have packed it down.
After leaving 7 Dwarfs, head right up the road and take (R) over the bridge. Follow to the TRAIL herd path taking you to Haystack Rd. Take (L) on Haystack and follow to North Twin trailhead.
Don't really need your snowshoes until the trailhead, but I think you're definitely going to want them the entire way up to peak.
Mitigated my safety risk and didn't go over to South Twin. The other 3 hikers did, so the spur trail should be packed down well enough. |
