This was intended to be a ZBond traverse by 3 hikers. Zealand road and trail were well broken out by a large group of students overnighting at the hut. Beyond the hut, the trail was untouched. We did our best breaking out Twinway but gave it up after probably a mile and a half. No excuses. We just couldn't get it done. As we were leaving, we encountered at least 2 ambitious hikers who indicated they were heading onto Twinway to finish the traverse. Maybe they managed where we couldn't. |
