Comments: Mostly broke trail to junction one bare booter has been through. At junction there was a nice track from snowshoers coming from ski trail. Minimal to no ice for us going up east, May have changed with more traffic on way out. Leaving Osceola summit we broke trail but it’s not a
Clean track at all due to the crusty top really hampered our ability to leave a good path. Then we met Barebooter
With almost 2 miles
Left to go and it was an ankle turning mess. Our two sets of shoes did not fix the 6-8 inch post holes all the way to road. Some areas we left better than others. Would suggest out and back unless you really like type 2 fun.
