Comments
Comments: Started around 11am. We wore snowshoes the entire hike. Trail was fairly packed out to Kinsman Falls. Past the falls, the trail was choppy because of bare-booters. It was tough to pack down on snowshoes because it was slightly crusted over. The perimeter trail around Lonesome was fairly packed down. On our descent, the trail was chopped up again from bare-booters. Once we were down at Kinsman Falls again (around 4pm) the snow was compact. The trail around Kinsman Falls + Cascades might be slick and tad crusty tomorrow morning.

Out of all the hikers we encountered today, seemed like 1/3 wore snowshoes and 2/3 were bare-booting.

Beautiful day on the trail and amazing view of Franconia Ridge!
