First major crossing over Rattle River has not been done since last snow. No sight of path over river. |

Trail is shaping up nicely. Crispy crunchy surface and packed powder the whole way It looks like the few of us that have been out there since the last snow were wearing shoes. Didn't see any postholes. That nice trail did end at the first major river crossing, a couple of tenths after the shelter. No sight of a path across so this solo hiker decided not to risk blazing the way. |
