Comments
Comments: Compared to Mt. Roberts a few days ago, this was the complete opposite!

Thanks to previous hikers in snowshoes and a recent thaw/freeze cycle, Winslow Trail was a rock-solid sidewalk all the way up. Spikes were perfect round-trip. They are definitely needed up top as the summit ledges are glazed over in ice. The road walk was packed down by snowmobile traffic. I usually descend via Barlow Trail but it looked lesser-traveled today. With Winslow in such good shape I came back down the same way.

With temps dropping this week, these conditions should be good for a little while. Had the whole place to myself this morning.
