Awesome day on Moriah for Tom’s SSW48over70 project. Trail was in decent shape with some postholes but we left it better than we found it with three sets of snowshoes, which we wore door to door. Stonybrook is a little more firm, Carter Moriah a little more loose powder. Snowshoes are the right tool for the job.
Looked like maybe one set of tracks heading off to the Carters.
The little chimney below the summit is a breeze, completely filled in with snow. |
