Beautiful conditions for a winter hike. Trail was well packed out. Led a group of 10 other hikers to the summit of Black Mountain via the Chippewa Trail - out and back. A couple people used snowshoes on the ascent, others used micro spikes which worked well too. Everyone used spikes on the way down. |
