Comments: Summer camp access road, Pvt Richie Green Trail, bushwhack

From vehicle, followed plowed, icy main camp road to signed trail head. Trail had partially filled snowshoe tracks. Following these tracks helped us stay on the trail which lacks blazing in parts. At the top of the moderate climb, we reached a steep, ledgy, icy scramble with root holds. We ignored this scramble and decided to bw south along the ledge through rather open woods. We soon found an easy grade up, and into the wide open woods of the ridge line. We then turned N and found the narrow trail that travels through thick, sprucy woods. In this area, the trail would be hard to follow if the branches were heavily laden with snow. Cold, sunny weather contributed to outstanding views from the open summit.
Breaking effort - minimal on a rather supportive surface
Grades - mostly easy, some moderate. We avoided the steep pitch.
