| Comments: |
Snowshoes got a free ride today [prepared winter hikers bring them anyway]. Spikes door to door. The trail was firm with just a light coating of an inch or 2 of powder. Most of the tricky spots on Fishing Jimmy and KRT had nice steps dug into the snow and grabbing trees was a big help on the way back down to avoid butt sledding and turning the track into a ludge. After today when temperatures are expected to drop to numbers that would make a polar bear shiver please consider your own life and the life's of Search and Rescue personal and stay home till temperatures return to safer numbers |
