Comments
Comments: Headed out on a solo adventure today to try and make peace with the effing Carters. At Camp Dodge there are two cutoffs to Imp, most people appear to have gone right. I went left on the traditional one, currently appears to be the road less traveled. Benefit to going right is it cuts out the brook crossing, but it's partially bridged anyway and not an issue.

The snowshoe track is in great shape right now. Firm down low and a little looser up top. Some drifting up on the summits. The sidehills on the way up to Carter Dome aren't bad. Mt Hight isn't recently broken out. Ran into Christopher Cameron, Sherlock, and Rick Simmons...only people I saw all day, pleasure to meet them.

General tips for the Carters: they always have snow, snowshoes. Wear something with a hood, you'll be walking in the trees. Don't wear your best puffy, decent chance it will get poked/torn. Speaking of getting poked, watch those eyes.
