Comments: Was able to get up the bootpacked trail in Microspikes late this afternoon, but there is some drifting from last night's trace of powder blowing around. Snowshoes would be needed for Ridge Trail, Ramsey, etc., as they haven't seen much use since last week's storms.

Frigid late afternoon with the temperature around -6F and howling wind. Squam Lake looks fully frozen.
