A beautifully packed trail, some drifting between the peaks bit that was to be expected given the winds today. Wore snowshoes car to car because I like my televators and because it was too cold to be stopping to swap out gear. It’s rare that I say a hike would have been fine with just spikes given that I tend to stay off the beaten path but as of now spikes or trail crampons would be fine for these peaks. |
