Comments
Comments: Footbed was fairly firm down low (could have been spiked, but snowshoes were fine too; would want snowshoes when temperatures approach freezing). Banana Trail had drifting, making snowshoes the ideal choice. Crusty off trail still. A small blue ice bulge into the col between the false summit and the summit; was able to step over it with snowshoes without issue; spikes not so much.

-5F at 10, warming to -1F by noontime under clear skies. Windy on the summit and in a few hardwood stands, but otherwise not as bad as yesterday afternoon/overnight.
