Nice moderate cloudy day with unexpected clearing by early afternoon. Views went to hazy Moosikuake and Lafayette, but not beyond. Road was packed by snowmobiles. Otherwise, Winslow and Barlow were mostly hard crust with frequent stretches of loose windblown snow. Although someone had broken trails with snowshoes, currently microspikes did well for us due to narrowed, irregular surface between crusty sides.
An "Old Boys" day out to be better conditioned for the Whites; and just to be Out.
