 | Comments: |
Took a walk along one of my favorite southern NH ridges, Temple Mtn., from Temple Rd. to "Pack Notch" and back again.
On Wapack, there was a pretty good track all the way to Holt. Beyond there it was rougher and looks to have been bare-booted before the deep freeze. Beebe was also in good shape.
Spikes were fine round-trip today due to the solid conditions. With the warmer weather this week, it's hard to say what would be best. Snowshoes might work but the snow depths in the footbed are thin in places and may melt out significantly. |
