As other reports have said the trail up to Jackson is well packed, used spikes to the summit. The ridge between Jackson and Webster has seen minimal use. Lots of drifting and soft snow. Our group used snow shoes to break it out, but trail is still soft. Multiple duck unders on ridge that required some limbo moves. Webster branch was also looser snow above the stream crossing. Could use either snowshoes or spikes on that segment. |
