Comments
Comments: Jewell trail is broken out with 3 sets of snowshoes, 1 bare booter did throw on snow shoes partway down jewell on way back. Trail is very soft so snowshoes at least to treeline. Upper jewell didn’t require much trail breaking as it is pretty bony as are segments of gulf side til sphinx col. Wore snowshoes all day to keep from swapping out. Visibility was a challenge today as fog did not lift as predicted anyone taking advantage of tomorrows forecast will have smooth sailing.
