Wore spikes the whole way. Snowshoes are unnecessary for now, although there is some risk of post-holing off trail. Did the classic loop clockwise. Inspected the ladders below the Mt Morgan summit, but decided to go around that icy obstacle. Also avoided the cave route below Mt. Percival. Very pleasant hike and great views from both summits. |
