Near perfect day today! Warm temps, some wind, partly cloudy/sunny skies. The only thing that was not near perfect were the trail conditions which WERE PERFECT!!
People had used snowshoes (please use them when there is new snow) and the trough had set up perfectly. The ENTIRE hike had these conditions. Could have maybe barebooted but with these conditions the microspikes (Hillsounds would have worked but much more than you would need)were the perfect combination of traction and comfort. I wish those that don't wear snowshoes could see what happens when you do! Sidewalks of snow! What a joy made better with great company. |
