Comments
Comments: You will need snowshoes if you're hitting the ridge heading toward Carter Dome. Drifting and even more drifting going down Carter-Moriah past the summit towards Carter Notch Hut. 19MB for .1 miles heading towards the Wildcat/19MB junction is wicked windblown. For almost all of 19MB from the Carter Dome/19MB junction you will also need snowshoes. It's all windblown and has only seen two sets of snowshoes (mine and one other).
