I've heard about Gap Mountain and its great views of Mount Monadnock for years. Mark and I figured we could make this short 2.8 mile and 600' elevation gain hike as side trip on our way to Ludlow VT. Weather wasn't ideal so views weren't so good but were nevertheless worth the effort. We'll try again another time when weather is better. We made our approach from west side via trailhead off Upper Gap Mountain Road. |
