Comments
Comments: York Pond-Bunnell Notch Trail, Kilkenny to Cabot 1-2inches of snow last night with rain as well. Felt like walking on sticky paper.
Kilkenny to York Pond Campground. Just as I dropped off of Cabot, the next .2-.3 miles I was all over the place. Sorry. Could not get a reading on the trail during this time. Deep and very heavy snow. Then I was able to start seeing a snowshoe track from one climber. I was grateful because it just saved me time navigating. Their tracks were in and out but helpful!!
The bushwhack to Unknown Peak was more of the same, Deep heavy nasty snow. #lovinlife
So, this is a good time this weekend if people are looking to nab these peaks, because you`ll be able to see the track.
