Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I came from Lincoln and the pullover at Greeley Ponds x-c parking was slush and hard to see how much snow with a car right behind me so I drove up to the pulloff on the left below hairpin turn. That one was minimal snow and I drove back down to the one below the trailhead. Greeley Ponds Trailhead lot is unplowed in winter.

Comments
Comments: Chose a shorter hike and drive due to near freezing conditions and early am rain/fog. This proved a great choice as an inch of new wet snow gave grippy surface and perfect for snowshoes 100% on the out and back. I didn't stay on my feet on the descent in the steeps some of the time. The tushmobile with snowshoes seemed the better option rather than crampons/postholing. To those who could stay on their feet the whole time, I am holding your cold beer while you execute the task better. One other hiker also in snowshoes. Windy on the ridge and cloudy. End of day there was a trailrunner coming up.
