Comments
Comments: Slushfest in a posthole-extravaganza. Out and back via Dicey’s Mill as I only “needed” Passaconaway. Barebooted the road walk (step carefully; it’s icy). Snowshoes up to the water crossing and back down from it, and light traction above the water crossing. It’s slow going because everything is unstable, but the track above the water crossing was so narrow and uneven that I couldn’t make snowshoes safe for my ankles. At least a dozen others on this route, this morning; all but one were in light traction.
Brilliant blue, clear skies!
