Comments
Comments: I started at the northern Imp Trail entrance and hiked the loop to N. Carter Trail then back down the southern section of Imp Trail. Wore microspikes to start, then switched to snowshoes as the snow got a tad more fluffy and trail got more steep, took advantage of the televators. Wore snowshoes the rest of the way around. The trail was broken and mostly consolidated between Imp Face and N. Carter Trail junction. Met six hikers in showshoes headed toward N. Carter and the trail was then a veritable highway until you near side trail that takes you to the back of Camp Dodge (?). The trail to Dodge was broken out but the rest of the Imp Trail had some older tracks. I was breaking through the crust with snowshoes the rest of the way. No one parked at southern entrance to Imp (plowed room for four cars comfortably).
