The road leading to the trailhead is icy and rutted beginning at the end of the homeowner section. As the ground softens, it looks like it is going to be a muddy mess. |

As of today, the trail was packed hard until the last quarter mile, which has drifts. That said, postholes are going to start to spring up like dandelions if folks don't put on snowshoes as the weather warms. |
