The first mile and a half to the power lines looks like it sees a lot of traffic from locals and/or people walking their dogs. Trail was packed down and can easily be bare booted once temps drop below freezing. Mile and a half from power lines to KRT got some snowshoe love from Nick C yesterday and we were grateful. KRT hasn’t seen any traffic in either direction from the jct of Reel Brook trail and between the crust over powder and the ups and downs, the trail breaking to wolf was slow going. However, two of us went out and back with our shoes so if you need wolf for winter, now is a good time to get it. |
