Comments
Comments: Spikes were perfect on this hard packed highway. At the summit I donned snowshoes and did the Ridge Trail to the Col Tr junction, then turned around. First day out post (minor) knee surgery and wow did it feel good to be back amid blue skies and views into the happy forever. I was the only person I saw today in snowshoes, but in the warm afternoon sun they were helpful on the Ridge Tr as snow edged closer to mashed potato consistency.
