Comments
Comments: The snow was very soft. We walked the road in spikes. The snow is packed by snowmobiles, but very soft. Once hitting the trail, we kept the spikes on because it was early and we were not breaking through and it is packed well. One member of the group switched to snowshoes. After climbing the tower, the rest of us put on snowshoes and kept them on all the way back to the car. At times, we were postholing in snowshoes, the temperature was so warm. Lots of up and down crossing all the little streams. Hopefully the weather will get colder and firm up this trail. Happy to get this one done for winter.
