Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking lot is plowed, tremendously icy so spikes went on before leaving the car. Enough room for 6-8? cars began parking along the north side of Hurricane Mt Rd when we got done.

Surface Conditions: Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Slush

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All hoppable by way of rocks but beginning to melt with the running water and warm temps.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in great condition overall.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One off leash way beyond eye sight of its owner.

Bugs: None yet 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.  
 
Comments
Comments: Trail was surprisingly hard packed when we arrived and began yesterday - a little concerned with the nearly 60 degree temps, but we were pleasantly surprised.
Started to soften up to slushy consistency for the top inch on the descent. Really didn't sink unless a foot goes beyond the snowshoe track.
(we finished by noon.. can't imagine how the remainder of the day turned out)

Tower was open, even with its patched window it was toasty warm in the cabin despite the winds outside.
