 | Comments: |
Williams Pond Road and the Park Tote Road were packed by snowmobiles and somewhat icy, making for fast skiing downhill with sleds but not great traction for skiing on the uphills. The Mount Coe trail is now packed out only from Marston to the South Brother spur. The lower section of the Mount Coe trail was deep in untracked snow when we passed its lower junction with the Marston trail. Staying to the left (northwest) on the descent from North Brother to Fort allowed us to avoid pushing through the densest spruces, and we only fell through waist-deep a few times. |
