The trail was solid this morning, but has many divots and lined with frozen postholes from boot traffic yesterday when it was far too soft to support boots. Only a dusting to an inch of fresh powder, not nearly enough to help. I used snowshoes from the cabin to summit then back to about .5 mi below the cabin. Lots of ankle twisting had today. |
