Zealand Road and the adjacent snowmobile trail are packed and firm. Hale Brook trail was like velcro with microspikes on; very firm with superior grip in both directions. Even the .3 mile long Doom Traverse was uniform with a well-defined footbed. Air temps in high teens and about 6-8 other people on the trail today. Some postholing from recent mushy conditions but these are easily avoided. I could go out every day with trail conditions this good! |
