Comments
Comments: Did an out and back on the Imp Trail from the north trailhead parking pullout. First cars there. Trail was solid on the way up but in pretty rough shape from all of the postholes and barebooters. A bit of ice under the snow. Wore microspikes the whole way but brought snowshoes. Ledges at the top had bare rock closer to the edge, boiler plate ice and then good hard packed snow closer to the treeline. Moving around felt very secure. The way back the snow softened up quite a bit, but it was a fast descent. Overall gorgeous day with amazing views of the Presidentials.
