Comments
Comments: Trail is packed down all the way from the trailhead to Osceola; there are a few postholes in the soft snow to the side, but nothing significant. Trail did look a lot less broken out south of Osceola heading towards Tripoli Road, though we didn't hike it. Microspikes needed, and I wouldn't have wanted to hike without full crampons. I put on crampons at the beginning of the steep section up to East Osceola and didn't take them off until I got back down the steep section on the return. Chimney bypass is in decent condition, and it was fine on the ascent; bypass to the bypass is easy, which I used on the return.

tl;dr bring spikes and crampons.
