 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at the Tram lot, where there was ample parking. This lot was not recently part of the breaking and entering issues and has a good amount of visibility and traffic, so it felt safer than my original plan (which was the Lafayette campground lot to hike from that direction). No issues with my car at the Tram lot. Stay safe, everyone. |

This will all change with the incoming snow, tomorrow, but conditions are terrific, right now. KRT is consolidated but the temperatures are warm enough that light traction has the perfect bite to the top layer. Additionally, someone put some perfectly placed trailside postholes in the sketchy areas, and now that they are frozen, they can be used as steps in these areas. Terrific! |
