Took a ride out to Swanzey today to check on some updates for Mt. Caesar. The Swanzey Conservation Commission has done a great job formalizing the trail system with a new kiosk/map, signage, and blazes. Caesar is a great little 900-footer with an open view to the west from the summit.
These trails were mostly bare with just some spotty snow and ice. The lower portion of Tower Trail (a woods road) was wet and muddy. This will all change of course with the incoming storm. |
