This is the main reason I’m putting in this report - this hasn’t been plowed the last few storms. I managed to get in today with the low snow levels, but it’s unlikely it’ll be accessible after the storm tonight. |

This was a quick dog walk up to the iron mine site before I ran out of daylight. My oldest pair of spikes did great for the ice patches hidden under the minimal snow. Snowshoes will be needed for the foreseeable future.
Note the parking comment above. I’ll add another trip report if the lot does end up getting plowed. Luckily there are a few other trailheads in the area! |
