Comments
Comments: There was only about 6" of fresh powder on the trails with some deeper drifts between the cabin and summit. Despite all the little stream crossings and a multitude of postholes (I packed a few of them down) hidden below the powder (and the cold and the wind), this was one of the best hikes I've had this winter (at least weekly). The trails are absolutely lovely right now. It looks like there are 3 snowshoe tracks on the trails going into the weekend. Please use snowshoes.
