Trail was well-marked and broken out from other snowshoers. I had both snowshoes and microspikes, but the snow was still pretty soft so I chose to snowshoe uphill. Several hikers (myself included) ascended with snowshoes and descended with microspikes or crampons due to some particularly icy and steep bits coming down the trail. [mountain snowshoes would do better than Microspikes] |
