Small streams were open, but none were an issue. |

A few scattered blowdowns, all minor. Noted nice new signage at junctions. Much better! |

I appeared to be the first one on the loop this morning. Looks like yesterday saw some boot traffic so things were choppy. There's enough snow for snowshoes and I wore them round-trip. Snow fell all day today and there's more in the forecast for this week, so snowshoes will be the best mode of transport.
I crossed paths with nine other folks; two were in snowshoes and the rest were in spikes, so the trails remain choppy.
Not much for views today with the snow falling, but the forest here is so beautiful I didn't care. Great day out in the woods. |
