Comments
Comments: Excellent.. While conditions changing rapidly overnight this is what we found today. Dry trails the vast majority of the time with no snow mud or ice. Some black ice around treeline and some flow ice in spots along Airline and Valley Way..We used spikes for about 30 yards on descent.

Really a stellar day above treeline and while it was windy on adams..20 degrees and 30 mph I guess..we lounged in the sun on Madison in virtually calm winds . Far reaching views tho the upper level clouds came in towards dusk.

Star Lake Moose getting very large and gave us quite a show by the propane cage at the hut...winter's coming baby..might want to head down a bit. Nice to chat with Bryan in the morning who was headed the other way.. Thanks Val for a great hike
