Comments
Comments: -2 start but no wind until junction. Nice track laid down, little choppy in spots from bear booters. Last 1/3 mile to junction lots of deep postholes, & 2 spruce traps a real mess. Everyone out today was in shoes, so it was a lot better on way down. Minor drifting on the ledges, covering up the trail in spots. The chimney to the top is all snowed in so its a ramp to summit. Nice change instead of the icy climb my last time here. Only real winds encountered were at the 1st ledges & summit, still a cold day though. Snow falling made up for no views to speak of. Really made for a beautiful day above tree line. New snow up high means shoes are a must to keep packing this down. Still too soft for spikes.

Thanks to Erik for a great hike!!
