Splendid walk on new snow. Followed a few snowshoe tracks from yesterday during the 6+ inches of new snow. Snow was soft to step on and soft to walk on. More sun than expected, only a breath of a breeze infrequently it was a very pleasant and picturesque trek to the summit. Everyone we saw had on snowshoes so by the end of the day the trough was perfect. The views from the summit were extensive and those peaks above treelined were a beautiful white. Nice day. |
