Comments
Comments: Snowshoes are a must. Don't be fooled by the conditions of the trail at the start, the drifts and depth once you start ascending the peak are anywhere from 6" to 12+". Two people ahead of me were in just spikes and they were struggling significantly. Snow is a mix between sticky spring and loose powder. Their spikes were balling up really bad. Snowshoes are necessary right now unless you want to be trudging along and sad all day.
