Comments
Comments: One chick, one bitch and one man today. 12 inches of sticky snow at the bottom, little softer at the top but much deeper. My bitch led the trail breaking most of the day (you can thank her in jerky next time you see her). A couple tracks from the folks who did Vose Spur yesterday but they ended at the first water crossing as we went the old route. One track on the old route but it was mostly covered in new snow from last night/today already. No tracks visible once we started climbing (not sure if they had turned around or it was drifted over). Our tracks were covered by an inch of snow as we descended but there’s a nice trench now for whoever wants to get out there before Saturdays storm. The road was packed by snowmobiles from previous days and today. Oh and yeah, don’t listen to trail runners, for the love of god.
